A matinee at the Wiener Staatsoper dedicated to Vincenzo Bellini’s Norma featured pianist Dominik Ilisz performing Liszt’s Reminiscences de Norma as part of the introduction to the new production. The event, moderated by Director Bogdan Roščić, included discussions about the opera, its composer, and the creative process, with members of the premiere cast taking part.
Following his performance, Roščić remarked:

“I can’t remember the last time a singer—or anyone—received such applause here.”
